Just got back from a 2K mile road-trip across France with the 599...took it to Italy for servicing...and now take a look at what's here! It's 500 Abarth Ferrari Dealers Edition and I quite simply love it. I especially love the popping/crackling sounds the quad-exhausts produce when releasing the accelerator or when downshifting. On 3K+ rpm up-shifts it sometimes produces some proper little explosions! I must say it's quite an addictive little machine Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow you guys are lucky on two levels. 1) You get a really cool courtesy car 2) You get ANY courtesy car at all!
You are right- coolest courtesy car ever! Is this a three pedal version? How did it feel to drive, was it stuck to the road?
I think all of the Ferrari edition Abarths (this is the 695 Tributo Ferrari correct?) had the F1 style gearbox. Possibly the dealer cars are different though
That's not a 695 Tributo Ferrari. While it does look almost identical to the 695 TF, the "Abarth 500 for Ferrari Dealers" predates the 695 TF, and has several differences (it's a 160hp "esseesse", it has a manual gearbox, it doesn't have front Brembo 4 piston calipers, and I believe it doesn't have all the CF trim pieces and Sabelt racing seats (but I'm going from memory on this last bit). Ferrari dealers also have another kind of courtesy car: the "Fiat 500 for Ferrari Dealers", which predates the Abarth one, and is based on the standard 1.4 100hp car.
