    Pebble Beach to Host Largest-Ever Gathering of Ferrari 250 GTOs
    The Ferrari 250 GTO is considered by many to be the greatest Ferrari ever manufactured. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of this model, more than twenty of these exclusive sports racing cars will take to the show field of the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, August 21.

    good question, I didn't hear anything about it. I would be surprised if as many at 2004 Laguna Seca.

    2004 was a nicer display, IMHO - then, the cars were (mostly) all driven around the track at Laguna, so there was real sense of purpose.

    Seeing them all sitting there at Pebble last week was nice, too, but (like all concours) you only got half the picture.

    I thought there were at least 20 that year, maybe 19. It was fun seeing a lot of them in Napa pre and post show. Seeing them on the track was a lot of fun!
