Isaac and I still had a good time. He got some great pics, as usual. I'd bet there were still at least 300 P-cars present. Really nice RSR repro-just completed. Got to talk with Chuck Beck for awhile. Great guy. Wait'll you see what we're gonna put together!

Brian your red 930 looks so sweet! I came so close to pulling the trigger on a red/black '86 last month....those pictures make me wish I did
I need to take some better photos, but this is a little tease. Sport seats, 930S steering wheel, Andial upgrades including electronic boost control, full B&B exhaust system, Kinesis wheels, etc. I do not drive her near as much as I should, but I cannot part with her either. I sold it 1.5 years ago now. It also was red/black. I decided to get a Subaru WRX turbo instead..all wheel drive and still like to go fast on my 'new economy' budget now
Hey, just reviving an old thread... bought a 930, pics to come soon... The car looks like picture #2 on here, with the boxed rockers, rear brake cooling vents, etc. It is not a slope nose though. Who made the boxed rockers/rear brake cooling ducts? Was it limited to a specific builder? Aftermarket stuff? Just curious. Trying to learn where my car might have come from...
Bumping this thread back to the top...there have been many 930 threads, but this one has some of the best photos, let's add more here please ...with early 911's fetching silly money, these capable beasts are a screaming deal at today's prices. Got my eye on one...again!
cheers mike for the bump! yes 930's will have their day. while there are certainly higher production numbers...unmolested (cosmetically) cars are not out there in huge numbers. among my cars...the 930 is my favorite. pcb
Here's my '79 930/DP935, dash shot, and old school DP 13x15 Fuchs w/335's. Heres a link to my site: http://www.dp935registry.com/. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes they will have their day. I was out driving mine & thought this is really all you need. Unlike most of the older exotics, the 930 is modern day fast. I bought some of that green oil, Brad Penn. I found a really good price on it. $55 a case at www.usasyntheticoils.com .
What's up with the early car prices? They are crazy. In the 80's no one (ok most) would have ever wanted a early car, compared to a Turbo version.
