Chas, it seems that they have hired some pretty decent people, with the exception of some the marketing hype they have done as well. Gordon Murray is one of the best that they could have got as a consultant. With Donato Coco and the guy from AMG they have a great team.

    Great news :)

One of Gordon Murrays famous quotes is "cut me and I bleed Lotus"

I think they have a good team on the product side but I have no idea what they're smoking on the marketing side. wanting to be a "British Ferrari", or a "lifestyle brand", or hiring a rap producer....seriously, WTF. just keep building small, light sports cars for nerds like me and leave your Napoleon complex and delusions of grandeur at the door, Dany.

if there's anyone that understands the "add lightness" mentality, it's Murray. I can't wait to see what he cooks up.

I met Murray last year at Petit Le Mans. His appointment gives me hope that some good will come from Bahar's reign in Hethel.

    Great.

First plan of action... Kill that horrendous Elise concept. They need to keep the entry level car as a purists car, and not a bloated micro-clone of the Esprit.

Yep. The formula is simple... "add lightness" as Colin Chapman would say.
