My apologies if this is a repost: November 18, 2012, US GP in Austin. Official approved schedule. Good news!
I'm sure Simon will have something negative to say about it. Now it's official, and is yet more positive news that this GP was always going to happen. Thanks for sharing Julio!
...US is going to happen but everyone now knows it's not going to be Austin (construction has stopped), it was a red herring from day one to cover for Bernie's Super Secret Contract with the Monticello track in NY state where people are far more educated, refined and better suited to appreciate F1 (and if Monticello doesn't come through, they will run in New Jersey... a little less refined but still east coast) LOL
Actually, the USGP is going to be in NY. Austin is still going to happen, but if Perry doesn't win the election, we're going to secede, and it will become the TXGP. You don't think it's mere coincidence that the date change is now two weeks after the 2012 Election?
And how much will it cost to rebuild Monticello to FIA standards, and who will pay for this? Didn't local governments in NJ or NY deny allowing a facility to be built in their backyards? And: "NY state where people are far more educated, refined and better suited to appreciate F1" Really? Austin is not like the rest of Texas, nevertheless, I would think most people attending an F1 race are from out of state/country anyway
Im still not sure Turkey wont happen. Bahrain is in the news again and its not good. Easy swap in a few months time.
Does the calendar consist of only 1 race next year?!?!?!?!? Ohhhhh Australia back on top nice to see Bahrain??!?!? I don't care if they become the most peaceful country in the universe, this track is uber boring. It would of been nice to have USA with Canada maybe in 2013
