Hi Gil I have no definitive proof, but if it's any comfort, Dexter Brown's rendering of this car is in red/yellow. Nathan

What is interesting to me from this post is the 4.9 Ferrari, with the "new" light chassis ... I wonder if that car is now a matching numbers car and yet it appears somebody made a new chassis for it in their shed ... hmmm. Pete
Seems to be a big question where the 330LMB 4619 ended up. Surprised with all these Ferrari experts no one knows.
Could this be the car that was reported stolen many years ago in the Atlanta area? I believe that there were are private investigators trying to reopen that very old case?
Experts : I have a few questions and would love to know the answers ... 1) Who designed the 250 GTO body ? 2 ) Which was the 1st Ferrari penned by Pinin Farina ? 3 ) in the early days ; Pinin Farina was a designer or a carrozzeria builder ? or both ? 4 ) What is Scaglietti known for ? designer or carrozeria builder or both ? Thanks in advance .
I'll play ... Bizzarini designed the 250 GTO. No coach building company was involved with the design, it was purely function. 0346M 166 MM/53 Berlinetta Both I believe. Both. Pete
Some very nice pictures: http://barchetta.mediacenter.studioline.net/Automobiles/-/Automobiles-A-Z/Ferrari/even-numbers-Race-Cars/0300M-0398TF/0346M-166-MM53/?Dir=1964479 Gr. Martin
i hade a t-shirt with PROVA MO-53 made. 0846 ran at Targa Florio 1967 and Le Mans 1967, 0856 at his win at Monza 1967 and Daytona 1967 and 0858 at Spa 1967 and Brands Hatch 1967 with PROVA MO-53. I have lots of pics of these cars at the named races but none (exc.0846 at TF) where you can clearly see the Prova-No. any pictures?
If by "penned" you mean "designed" or "built", 0346M was clearly not the first Ferrari built by Pinin Farina... Rather 0177E...
