So #90001 has some Swedish connection, driver and team. http://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/results/90001%20%5BF40%5D.html Why are there a US bumper on the back of the car in -96?
If I can ask your help? I'm looking for pictures of the F40 GTE Shell, which ran the 1000 km at Suzuka in 1996 with the number 29. Thank you.

Good evening Patrick, I did some research on this car is the F40 GTE (serial number 88779) of the team Ennea / Ferrari Club Italia who have committed the 1000 km Suzuka August 25, 1996, she wore number 29 and was driven by Max Angelelli and crew Tetsuya Oota, qualified in 6th place on the starting grid, it will finish this race for 24 th place (20 laps behind the winner) I have not yet pictures from this race, but in the meantime I'll post photos of her at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year and also two other pictures that make me think that this is suzuka, confirms me s' you like it thanks Le Mans 1996 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
garnet, thank you for your help. But I don't see pictures on the first link. I have some pictures of Studio27 kit but no one of the real car. Thank you again, garnet.
Good evening Lamine, that's the good car and your informations are true. But the pictures of the real car #29 are hard to find...
Thank you, Lamine. Difficult to said yes ! According to this drawing, there are some differences and I don't see the number 29... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lamine, I reconsider my answer you're right. But it seems there are 2 versions ... Test and race? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Laurent Tay of Garage43 (Singapore) just finished these two babies for me: s/n 90001 and s/n 82404 in their Le Mans 1996 livery. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, I haven't found anything about this so I'll ask here. I noticed looking at the F40 which is exposed inside the Turin car museum that it has a different rear suspension setup. I never saw any other F40 in this discussion with such setup so I'm wondering what F40 that is. http://oi51.tinypic.com/2m6n18n.jpg The picture is not mine but I am planning to go see it in person soon and maybe take some other pics.
Pictures taken in the past months by unknown person. I'm probably going to visit the museum one of the next weeks so I may take more detailed soon. Also where is the VIN located in these cars? http://i56.tinypic.com/snl4e9.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/2uemwb5.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2uek186.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/2wgbvvr.jpg
the first picture it seemed that it was an F40, with the other pictures it is clearly an F40 LM, so it's the latter that has these special suspensions if I read well? your request concerns the serial numbers you call VIN ?
I'm just curious about the suspension because I haven't seen that in any other F40 yet. I don't personally care about the identification number, but I thought it may help the experts on this site to identify the car and find out the story of the car.
I think i saw an F40 with this livery up for sale in a site.. The car was caged, center lock wheels and ''GTE'' bodyt kit.. I will search it and post it here..
