I am jealous and as such hate you.

 

Used to strongly dislike Alonso, very young and dangerous, but most drivers that drive for McLaren end up being dicks, that's how Ron Dennis likes him, because he is one. Alonso is completely different with Ferrari. He admits when he is wrong and is a team player when developing the car.

Very much dislike Hamilton, because he makes a lot of mistakes due to lack of maturity, but mostly because he never admits to them. He also is dangerous, shows little respect for his team, and no respect for the other drivers.

As far as someone saying that Nelson Piquet has no tallent with 3 WDC, I'm not sure if that's accurate. He was an SOB, but muscling around a 1200 HP Turbo BMW F1 car, takes some talent.

 

So can I ask without sounding offensive? Do you actually know Alonso/ Hamilton/ Ron Dennis and Piquet ? I have to think if other drivers felt strongly that Hamilton was dangerous they would collectively voice opposition to him even being at the track. If you do not personally know any of the men above can you really say you know Ron Dennis likes his drivers to be d___ heads or that Piquet was a SOB. I am just saying if the guys who race every other weekend or so with these guys don't have these abrasive comments how could any of us really know anything substantial about their character.

Just to be clear on this:

Nelson Piquet is a prick but hugely talented which is why he won 3 titles in a very competitive era of F1.

Nelson Piquet Jr. has barely any talent and is a rat.

 

You are going to need to stop sugar coating your thoughts and feelings.

 

I know enough that
- Mclaren cheated,
- Mclaren were found guilty of cheating and
- Mclaren were found guilty about lieing

So yes, I hate any driver that drives for that wrotten cheating Mclaren team.

You asked why I hate certain driver's. I hate Mclaren drivers because they are unethical enough to drive for a team that cheats.

I might end up regretting this but here it goes. Do you seriously believe that no other team has not atleast bent the rules to try and gain an advantage. To say they are all saints would be naive at best. I love Ferrari and it's racing history but I am not about to claim that they and all other teams are better than Mclaren after the theft of racing information. No team on a race track could look someone in the eye and claim they wouldn't try to gain any advantage they could to win.

I do not like what Mclaren did but I am not crazy enough to think they are the only team that is guilty of cheating at one time or another. JMHO.
If refusing to drive for a team that has ever cheated was the norm, F1 would stop racing tomorrow unless they could use remote control cars.

I think Alonso is a cancer and his "move" on Massa this past weekend just reminded me of what an incredible dick head he is.

Not true. He left McClaren after 1980 and again after 1989. He was not fired either time. He also left Williams after 1994 - not fired from them either.

 

This is an opinion thread. I assume you don't know all of the people you have commented on on these threads either. My opinion is as I stated. There is also quite a bit of commentary from drivers both past and present that do not like LH's driving. Piquet was an SOB during his prime, but very much quiet and pleasent later in his years, and yes I did meet him a Laguna Seca. I, don't need to meet President Obama to solidify my opinion that he is an idiot. Never met Charles Manson either but I'm pretty sure he's N-U-T-T-Y nutty.

 

While I appreciate your willingness to answer, I need to tell you no this is not an opinion thread. Since it is the thread I started I feel qualified to say it is a request to know the source of specific dislike some have toward different drivers. In addition, I was hoping to discover if anyone here actually has personal knowledge of specific drivers. I never asked for anyone's opinion. I also do not comment on drivers as if we are friends and I know all about their faults and everyone around them. Either way your position is clear. You don't know them but you have strong feelings about them. Thats cool.

 

Mclaren were found guilty of copying another teams designs and lieing about cheating. Ferrari have never been found guilty of that.

Any driver who drives for an unethical team like Mclaren is similar to a manager of a ponzi scheme. He knows exactly what is going on and is unethical enough to justify the means to the end.

Any racers that races for Mclaren inorder to drive Senna's silver Mercedes powered Mclaren is a fraud artist himself!

 

What about that whole thing with Massa, Alonso, and team orders???

F1 is a team sport. Team orders are part of F1.

The standard normal defensive mechanism of personal attacks kicks in again. You can resort to childish name calling all you want, but it will never change the history of your beloved unethical cheating McLaren team and their fraud racers.

 

I have no idea how to respond to this without sounding like I am not a Scuderia Ferrari Fan, but simple logic requires that I do.

Have you completely lost all objectivity? That is like saying a murderer is the worst criminal so all kidnappers get a pass. We get it you hate Mclaren. I just have to ask then, did you support Ferrari when Kimi was driving and currently since Alonso is driving?

 

Per the dictionary, cheating when used as a verb means "to violate rules or regulations." Is that not what Ferrari did by telling Massa to let Alonso by when team orders were against the rules? Also per the dictionary, cheating can mean "to defraud." Given that Ferrari cheated with the team orders issue, does that not make Ferrari frauds as well?
