2011 NY Tri-State Spotters Thread

Saw a red F430 spider heading toward the Lincoln Tunnel this morning and a black Maser GT on W 40th.

 

Black 458 w/ NJ personalized plate "RJF" on Route 10 west in East Hanover around 7:15pm today.

Red F430 spider parked outside Best Sound and Security in Flushing this afternoon (Rudy's car)

White LP640 on the Turnpike south near exit 16W today about 4pm (driving like an ass)

 

A silver 612 in North Caldwell, NJ today. I was in my 599. We gave each other a little wave ;-)

 

Drivers on the Garden State last night around 6PM must have thought they were seeing double. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a F430 Red with Tan interior following me. We travelled like that for about twenty miles until he got off the Parkway.

Haven't seen one F-car since the Ferrari Challenge, I guess I got my fill then.

Saw a R8 V10 Spider and an all tan 911 GT3-RS in Newtown CT today. All tan looks odd on the GT3-RS

Silver Dino at 7am today route 105 northbound in Riverhead

Black Bentley Azure coupe on the Hutch northbound

Grey Ferrari California east on the Cross Island Parkway

Maserati Quattroporte on the BRP southbound

 

Met member ferrisbueller this past weekend while on vacation in Ocean City with his very nice 575!

 

Saw a grey on black 911 GT2 RS going from NYC on either the hutch or the sawmill. I remember a member in the area owning one in this color combo but can't remember who.

Also a red 308 on 6-84 and an Alpina B7 in the Yankee Stadium parking garage

 

In front of Cipriani's in Soho last nite: A 458 and an Aston Martin Vanquish.

telesto lp640 at broadway and w91st last night at 2am. awesomely loud exhaust.

 

awesome 458 on route 3 just about 20 mins ago. i must have looked like an idiot taking pics with my dslr while driving my vw rabbit all over the road. got a thumbs up and a quick little rev though.

 

A black 360 in Vauxhaul/Millburn today. He was headed straight to a pool of water on the entrance to 78. Crazy!

Spotted a black 360 Spider and a convertible Aston oncoming on the eastbound LIE HOV lane (several minutes apart) a few days ago.

 

Took a trip up north to Saratoga Springs via Albany and it was quite the trip for spotting. Too bad I'm not going up next weekend- I can't think of anything much better than good wine and great cars.

Yesterday:
Yellow Ferrari 360 parked outside the Saratoga Automobile Museum (which has quite the collection of Italian machinery right now)

Last Night:
Same 360 as well as a red Ferrari F430 Spider and a Bentley Continental Flying Spur parked at Prime, the restaurant at Saratoga National Golf Club

Today:
Grey Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster and the same F430 at Saratoga National

Black Lotus Elise in the town of Saratoga Springs

Red Ferrari California, white Lamborghini LP640 Roadster, green Bentley Continental GTC, white GTC, green Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, a few Continental Flying Spurs, and a beautiful robins egg blue 1958 Mercedes Benz 220se (picture attached) all parked in and around Saratoga Raceway.

Spotted a beautiful Giallo 458 with black wheels cruising with my neighbor in his red R8 today. Quite a little combo. No pics though
