something for the raiders fans to look forward to...

50 = highest possible score, superior intelligence
30 = Very bright, you're shouldn't be living at home
20 = average intelligence (similar to IQ of 100)
15 = Equivalent to unskilled worker
10 and Below = Mental retardation

And I suspect that was after serious tutoring/coaching on the subject matter and nuances of the test.

No TP, "nuanaces" is not the name of the NFLPA's preferred tattoo shop; it means...oh never mind. :D

Yeah, but with all due respect (LOL), 'better' than a 7 is an 8...

I've always wanted to talk to the pro players about their college class experiences just to see if any of them know or remember a single thing. The guys I have talked to: almost none of the WR's or RB's can remember a thing (draw your own conclusions there), but a bunch of the lineman seem to remember quite a bit.
I could define further, but then I would be labeled a racist.

Nobody will ever confuse Ohio State with Harvard. Hopefully landing with the Raiders won't screw him up, though it seems the new coaching staff has a better grip on the team than in the past.

Maybe he could teach Al Davis something about reality?

That is why I never liked him as our QB. He is a tool.

    His IQ = idiot.

:D Not a chance! Crazy Al (an affectionate term ;)) lost touch with reality so long ago it's ridiculous.....

But, as a QB is he any good? - Should he lead 'em to the promised land (a winning season!?) all will be overlooked..... Or will he do a JaMarcus style flameout?......

Incidentally, I heard the other day that a dude (psychologist?) who "helps" screwed up athletes get back on track tried with JaMarcus and is the only time he's admitted to failing.... I reckon he's taken the crown from Leaf!

    Cheers,
    Ian

No. He is a tremedous athlete. Absolutely fantastic, but he is NOT a QB. He may be something else, but a QB he is not. Too stupid.

I guess his agent told him to say he'd be willing to play any position ahead of the supplemental draft - Maybe Crazy Al has a plan for him!..... Which would be very worrying in and of itself. ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

I don't think there's enough geritol in the world to teach Al Davis about reality.

His suspension appeal hearing was Thursday - He didn't go to NYC and was represented by uber-agent Drew Rosenhaus and the NFLPA....... Ruling expected soon.

I think it's quite the conundrum - WTF is Goodell doing running interference for the NCAA? And if it's "right", why wasn't Pete Carroll handed a nice big suspension?......

    Cheers,
    Ian

Good point and it does open Pandora's box. Reggie Bush's time at USC no longer officially exists b/c of NCAA infractions which were far worse than TP's. Why wasn't Bush punished?

"After the event" maybe? I can't help thinking quite a few NFL players had some kind of NCAA infraction during their college careers - Damn, I read recently that the "rules" say they're allowed bagels but not cream cheese.......

The difference here is that he dodged the NCAA ban by jumping to the pros - *Exactly* the same scenario as Pete.......

    Cheers,
    Ian
