I will update this when they get here. I'll take some pics. I just hope I can do this without screwing up.

Prospeed sent me a message via Ebay and said they were a little backlogged. I guess they are selling a few. Good for them. Thanks to Ferrari's crap OEM Cats. So maybe next week. In the mean time the regular cats work just fine.

Well Hi, in all madness I have been reading ;-)) i think i belong to same group.........

.I am doing some stuff to pass emission tests. I have found a new site called prosport-ferrari dot com who is selling cats for as much as 200 euro a piece "NEWLY MADE". Has anyone got any experience with them? I have never seen this site before...are the new?

Is there a risk to take these? and what could that risk be? they are cheaper then straight pipes or prospeed...
    Anyone any suggestions?

Yes, you may receive nothing in return for your money...or you receive an ill fitting product, or one that causes "check engine" lights if your car has OBDII with a post cat O2 sensor. I had a catalyst rebuilt with a new metal catalyst core, worked great for one year, then threw a CE code for 'low catalyst efficiency'. So some aftermarket cats work great initially, then cause issues later in life from use and age.

I was just checking out their website. Looks Legit. They don't say much about their cats. Nothing about high flow or OEM. They do have them for 2.5 & 5.2 systems. Pretty cheap. They are 175 US Dollars. God knows what shipping is. Here's a pic of the LH one they offer.

I'm getting very Frustrated! The seller keeps telling me it'll be next week bla, bla, bla. If I don't get them by the end of this week I'll be getting a refund. PayPal is really good about this. Then I'll go Fabspeed I think. I'll keep the world posted. I am having doubts about this company (Prospeed). Be advised.

Let us know how it works out. It's funny. They are selling those Cats for what I would consider a "normal" price. What the hell makes a Ferrari Cat so special? I wish I knew. It's not Gold plated.
    Good Luck!

Sorry for it taking so long Michael. I appreciate your patience and they're already on their way. Should be there by tomorrow or weds at the very latest. I understand your frustration but we had a delay with our core supplier as well as the larger than usual order from our august sale. :( Let me know when you get them. Cheers!

They look very nice! It's a shame that once installed they're out of sight. I'll tackle the installation this weekend. I am looking forward to hearing what they sound like.

I have the Hyperflows on mine and I put them on myself. The only thing I can add is that you may want to loosen the bolts on the exhaust from the top to make it easier to move it out of the way. Like others have said, it's pretty easy and obvious what to remove and where.
Also those O2 sensor wires are very touchy, so dont just twist them until they come out. Disconnect them so they will spin around or you will be replacing them next. Ask me how I know.
