    Wearing the Patek today, this was my fathers favorite watch and after his passing a few years back i wore it everyday for a year (that and his wedding band which is still on my finger). I now have been wearing a white face rose gold bezel cartier calibre which i love also. What is funny is that NO one ever knew what the patek was which was great since it garnered less attention. Its a 5056p which was a limited production watch and i believe the precurser to the 5146p

    My Martin Braun Heliozentric in rose gold. Either 25 or 50 made, I believe. The blue "earth" travels around the central "sun" to specify the month. The other dial specifies the corresponding Zodiac sign (not that I know what any of them are!). In-house "MAB 88" automatic movement.

    Martin Braun lost the rights to his name to the Franck Muller Group, with whom he is no longer associated. So, his watches are no longer made under the "Martin Braun" name, although he recently started another company called Antoine Martin with Bruno Jufer.

    My 13-year-old son has never asked me for anything material, but he has gently hinted that he would love to inherit this watch someday. :)
