Big car collection burned up in Bastrop. At least he is alive to tell the story. http://jalopnik.com/5837816/texas-fires-destroy-one-collectors-175-classic-cars Prayers go out to all the residents and firefighters.
We had a (now banned) Ferrari owner out there too. He would be right in the middle of the fires. Regis365GT4 or something like that, a MOD would have to scan our banned Memebers list to find his contact info. I had his phone number for a long time, but damaged the equipment and lost it. Seemed a nice guy...he was right on the Colorado in Bastrop, from what I could tell from his posts.
That guy IS a Austin Fireman, he'll catch pure hell if he lets it burn in his driveway!! You need to drop by and inquire to buy it!! It's on my list of "things to do" now that my cash flow is better! I don't think it'll make it driving back to Moorespeed, clutch is shot.
Well well well... http://articles.cnn.com/2011-09-07/us/texas.fires_1_huge-wildfire-wildfires-rage-evacuation-orders?_s=PM:US
Do any of you have any idea how hard this is to do? Hovering while picking up gallons of water. Wow! Dale
They know their stuff. There were two of them out there yesterday. Must of came in more than 30 times for over a few hours. I am sure they are still out there today. If you want to see one hell of an airshow drive out their. They had the DC-10 flying real low and slow over magnolia.
