Aventador availability?

Not sure customer cars have arrived yet in the States, but if they haven't it should be any day now. There are several dealer demo cars running around. Last I heard 2012 Model Year was sold out. Of course there are sure to be flips available for a premium once customer cars hit the streets.

The TRUE CUSTOMER cars shall start arriving early October. The current cars are Dealer Demo cars. They can be sold and MOST have. However the Dealers are required to retain them for a period of time on their floor for future sales as well as up-coming cars shows around the country.

I know of at least two that ares till availble for sale, of course they demand a premium and depending which one a person would buy, delivery varies, but prior to the end of the year for sure. ALL orders for year 2011 have been filled, with only approx 44 cars to be delivered to the USA prior to year end.

Next delivery slots are looking into Marc-April, as the next batch of production is slated for both the Chinse markey and other Euro locations prior to the USA. I am also told next years cars will have a pct of base price increase...of course that would happen.

Some may nnot know, but all the first Demo cars did not come with fully electrci seats as the motors for the seats were slow in production from the vendor to Lamborghini. Just one of the delays in completing and producing customer cars.

 

Having spent the whole week end with a Lamborghini representative in my LCB event this week end... I can tell now that none Aventador had been delivered to dealers in Europe... ALL orders for year 2011 and 2012 have been filled... booking orders starts now for 2013 !!!

Can you confirm, Roy, which dealers got the privilege to collect their demo Aventador in USA ???

Dallas has theirs. So do Miami, FL and Newport Beach, CA. I wonder which US dealer has NOT received their demo...

 

Lamborghini Palmyra (NJ) has their Aventador. It was on display at the Radnor Hunt Concours.

I think we were told that orders were filled "through" 2013.

 

Uncertain, I went so far as to mail a deposit, then thought better of it and ordered a 458.
Being in the midwest of course I wanted the Aventador in the spring and that was not going to happen.

There is a white demo at FVMC in Chicago area that will be there 5 more months. They offered a test drive, so I bet it has not sold. I declined since I was just a gawker. It did not look too good up close. Different trim and color could rock though, if you like angular cars. I took lots of pics on a G11.

I had a long chat with a marketing guy there named Todd who seemed good in terms of knowledge and enthusiasm.

 

Pretty sure there is a matte white in the Scottsdale showroom

 

I just saw my first one in person yesterday in the Seattle area. Lamborghini of Bellevue brought it to the Kirkland Concours car show.

Here in Illinois, we have two demos. Both white, one at FVMC and one at Lamborghini Gold Coast.

My friend went and looked at the demo in Scottsdale....100K over sticker and you can have it now, but they will need to use it for events...50K over sticker and you can have it in 6 months after events/demos are done.

 

how much is the sticker for a "base" model ?

 

Scottsdale does'nt have the best reputation, and with shennanigans like that I can see why.

The Matt white car at Lamborghini North Los Angeles does not have full electric seats.

The base is manual.

Car is sold. Very high premium, not sure when we will get our first customer car.

I heard December but that may change. This car was supposed to be here 3 months ago.
