I keep seeing 355's some with amber and others with clear front turn signals. Are the clear versions OEM or Aftermarket? I asked a few owners who had clears and they said it was on the car when they bought it.

I think the amber were for the US market and clear for the Euoropean

European models came with them, we got the crappy amber lenses.

Ok that makes sense now, is there a distributor in the States who can sell the clear lenses?

Such an improvement. I don't know why the US can find better looking ways to be safe! The euro version is always the best looking version.

Believe it or not, it looks good because we don't have it. Anything that you have of plenty, after a while it becomes as not sought after, plain, bold and not interesting, as the amber parking lenses. This is why European version of almost any make and model looks interesting to us. I personally prefer the US version parking lights.

I don't know - orange on red vs. white on red -

I always think back to the Lexus RX - when they switched to the clear tail lights - what an improvement.

I thought about that one too. I think you're right, in certain cases though. I prefer the chin on the 308's for the US market. In the case of the 355, I think the clear lenses look much cleaner, unless someone has an amber colored car. :)

I dont know about that. I personaly think the side running lights on the US cars look naff and fussy. We dont have them in the UK.

I made the switch to Euro lights. Looks much better in my opinion. Ricambi has them. Super easy to swap out.
