Ah, yes, you might be right, that's the coupe. Sorry 'bout that. It was in the EVO story about the spider so I just took it to be.

Official video is really cool. Great shots of the rear deck and the car doing what the McLaren can't (hanging the tail out).

Could i be the only one to think there may be a problem matching the leading edge colours of the roof , (buttress hooks), with the interior colour of the car?

I did not noticed the double bubble roof before... it looks great. I really love the 458 spider.... hope to get that after a year of driving my new cali.

I think these "hooks" are covered in leather and so matching the interior is not a problem. But the configurator will hopefully answer these questions.

Yes you are probably right; it’s the black vertical mechanical cover plate that seems to be always black which in turn gives the window its line optically when closed(which is good), but being black gives a 3 colour to deal with, don’t you think ?

I had planned to do the same, but I think I will wait to see this car in person first. The pics of the car with the top up do not look as good as I had hoped. Don't know exactly what it is but it seems so plain. The car looks great with the top down so I am holding out hope it will work for me when I see it in person.

The good news is the Cali has exceeded my expectations so at least that has worked out well.

Yes you are right that the carbon fiber piece will stay the same color. But it is not exactly black. It is carbon fibre look which should go well with most any color.

Additional pictures I’ve seen lead to the same conclusion. However if the hook is as thought leather (sorry but it may seem like a small detail but) is it possible to anticipate a lot of mosquitoes & flies on the front face of the hook … etc... ?
