    I've put off my seats today cause they are going to the renewal.

    I took pics, and was surprised to find a number under them.

    An internal serial number such the other ones found usually on our cars ?

    A Daytona number serial ?

    What # is your car and what # did you find. Based on the picture of the seat, the upper portion of the seat isn't the normal Dino seat pattern.

    Body 339 is around S/N 00778 so much earlier.
    At the very least, the foam is remodeled with new covers, maybe...

    My sequential number is 499 and chassis # 01104.
    That, is too many cars in between. Possibly the seats are from another L series Dino, as the frames are correct,
    yet also correct for a Daytona as Shawn notes.
    Pascal, are you missing the black plastic finger gadget, that goes on the lever that changes the inclination of the seats?

    Many times seats are redone but the original webbing is maintained. Do not assume that the seats are original. You must look for more clues like multiple staple holes under the leather where parts were re- used.

    Yes, I miss the correct "finger", mine being slightly broken even if present in my glove-box...

    As regards the seats, I definitely consider that they came from a Daytona chassis # unknown.

    If the frames are Dino ones, that would mean that the frame are not even original from my car...

    Then, why ? Is the linking system different, wider... on Daytonas ??

    I`m no expert on Daytonas, but these seats look like original seats from a Daytona to me?!
    They are a bid wider than Dino-Daytona seats.
    Daytona seats also had the body no. panceled on the rubber stripe...
    I would check with Daytona specialists...

    Daytona # 13971
    Assembly sequence #352.
    Scaglietti Body #352.
    November 27, 1970, Factory completion date.

    It definitely looks that your seats are from a Daytona.

    I agree with Matthias and Alberto, seats from a Daytona for sure. All you have to do is to find the car fitting to your seats. Should not be very difficult.

    Just had a look in Hillary Raab's book:

    Body no. 339 is a US Daytona #13941, delivered new to Chinetti. Now a spider Conv..

    I don't believe that the seats came out of this car.

    But there seems to be written another number on the seats as is 359. This body no. is a Daytona Coupe, too, #13957, delivered to an Italian client named Bonelli. I did not found any further information about this car.

    The serial # is definitely 339.

    And I think we are quite 100% sure than they do not come from Daytona # 339, it's a chance !

    So, last possibility ?

    Why could not we imagine that they made a mistake on the assembly line, making 2 pairs of seats for the same Dayto or sth like that ? (mistake in the colour of the seats...)

    Coz' it's quite impossible that these seats have been bought in France more than 30 years ago...?

    And coz' they definitely are Daytona seats covers ON Dino L frame.

    I see 359 above and 339 beneath.

    And here the opposite way arround...

    13957 seems to be lost, maybe an accident. Why not putting the remaining seats into a Dino?
