    So was the water level shallow or does an Enzo have material properties in it's construction that make it more bouyant than most cars ?

    Absolutely....The monocoque and chassis is hollow carbon fibre. It acts like the hull of a boat.

    OK........that makes sense.........the CF bits I knew about, but the hollow construction/monocoque explains the partial flotation evidenced in the photos, as opposed to it being totally underwater like your father's Oldsmobile would have been. Boat hull was a good explanation.............glad no one was hurt.
