I almost went to that show today but, didn't because the weather wasn't looking good. I clicked on the above link to see if there was any additional news on the crash that I hadn't seen earlier. For some reason I felt compelled to read the comments under the article. Wow, what a bunch of disrespectful, ignorant people posting there.

    Blue skies gentleman.

It's been a very bad year in the aviation show circuit.

I never read any news comments sections for that reason, they are worthless.

I don't tend to read Youtube comments on stuff like this for the very same reason. People are absolutely ridiculous.

Here is video of the crash:

I wonder what happened? Everything about the move performed looked normal in the video to my (untrained) eye. The other plane doesn't respond in a way that makes it look like it was hit?

Looks to me like he may not have had enough upline before starting the aileron roll...maybe got a little too slow? I've never flown a T-28, so I don't know anything about their inverted handling characteristics, maybe 1400+ HP is enough to just power through and something else was going on.

What a week. I'm going to go fly this afternoon before I start feeling weirded-out.

Edit: watched it again, and I guess the other aircraft that made it had about the same amount of nose up attitude. Maybe he was just a bit slow and couldn't get enough roll rate to get back to wings level expeditiously enough. ?

I wonder if the pilot had a medical problem. Nothing else about the airplane's performance looked out of the ordinary to me.
