Can anyone recommend a good independent Porsche shop around Nashville? I'm in Hendersonville.

    Thanks,
    Casey

Ask for Jerry and say, Carlos Jr sent you. They have been working on my 2003 Porsche Boxster S for the better part of 3 years now. From basic maintenance intervals to installing my coilovers, intake plenum, lightweight flywheel, etc. Good work, solid work. You will not be disappointed. Come next year when I add a Porsche 996 Turbo to the stable. Sure enough they will conducting all of my work.

    All the best.

Most of the Porsche guys I know use either Renntag Motorworks (Wickie Lawrie) or Music City P&A. Both are in the book. Renntag is near 65 and Briley on the Northside of town, so it is probably the most convenient to you.

    no worries :)

all I know about them is seeing one of their shops from I-65 between Franklin and downtown.

it looks like Renntag is more in your neck of the woods anyway.

It is definitely closer, calling both places first thing tomorrow morning. Wanna get these electrical gremlins sorted out so I can maybe take the car on this next trip to VA, MD, PA. :)

Headlights & interior lights flickering, trip mileage counter resets every time I turn the car off, get out and come back, when I flash the lights I get a little loss of power and the battery meter gauge on the left side of the instrument panel drops.

I may have signed up a couple years ago when my dad got his 997, but I'm not sure. I've only lurked, haven't posted.

Everyone on 6speed thinks my problem has to do with the alternator.

Edit: I am signed up on rennlist... CMartin348. Searching there now.
