Has anyone visited the McLaren Factory in Woking?

Any chance of a private tour, or visit available for the showroom only?

Didn't you ask this same question a while back? [Someone did?]

Without someone "on the inside" I doubt you'll get beyond the lobby.

Having said that, an email to their PR folks *may* elicit a response - Good luck, please report back......

    Cheers,
    Ian

I've already been to the Ferrari factory..next on my list was the McLaren factory/showroom. Don't worry, I am not "crossing over"....:D

I will be in London for a week, so I will have some time to visit the factory one day. I will also try and head over to the Mercedes World exhibit, which is in Brooklands.

I've been a few times and well worth it. It is very different and you get to see much more than at Ferrari
Make sure you get the tour of F1 + the roadcar division

As to arranging it - I suggest you contact your nearest Mclaren dealship

Not exactly the same sort of visit but one of our engineers went there the other week to sort a problem out for them in their F1 department and apparently they were very funny about him being there, nearly turning him away when he arrived on site even though they requested an engineer to be there!.

He bumped into Martin Whitmarsh in a corridor and greeted him with: "All-right mate!", as he didn't know who he was! (he's not an F1 fan but he watched the following weekends race and then realised who "mate" was).

I'm still waiting for Ferrari to accept My free courtesy visit offer on behalf of our company. So far they don't seem to see the need for a visit. :(
