    A fatal accident seems business as usual and nothing to be shocked about :eek:

    Robinson a Ferrari co-driver died in the spot :eek: @ 7:40

    P.S. Anyway ;
    does anyone have an idea as to why of the 1-2-3 sponsor in the other Ferrari ..

    what 1-2-3 was ?

    Thanks

    it took me longer than one week to check out this whole thread and I didn't find a single pic of this car # 5575

    I really appreciate it .

    I'd like to see it's original livery ( silver w/ red stripe )

    the focus of my collection is mexican owned Ferraris

    # 5575 is currently owned by a mexican guy
    0718TR was originally delivered to a mexican racer ...
    and so on ...

    Thank you Klaus !

    1) Is that it's original paint job ?

    2) Is that a non - pontoon Testa Rossa next to it ? :confused:

    (2) Appears to be the 412MI. von Neuman's cars generally ran with either race no. 11 or 211. One of the greatest battles I ever witnessed was between Hill in the 412MI and one of the Scarabs, at Riverside. Swapped places almost every lap. Maybe these pix came from that same race?

    Indeed barchetta lists Ginther in #211 412MI (0744) for Riverside '59, so this fits.
