+1 Quite a hard hit too...fortunately Berger was okay. And that's the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe of Tom Kristensen and Kenny Brack going by.
We published our RAC TT Celebration race coverage, which includes 300 images from Tim Scott. This class needs no introduction with this crowd, but suffice it to say that it was majorly impressive this year. Hope you enjoy the photos. http://www.sportscardigest.com/goodwood-revival-2011-rac-tourist-trophy-race/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I did an HPI check and the name Bradley S 61 came up, a name I have never heard of. Meantime wonder if anyone knows anything about the history behind Alexander Boswells 500/625 which from what I gather carries the chassis number 0482 ? Relevant answers maybe credited and used in a forthcoming blog. Thanking you in anticipation of your responses.
Be sure to check the latest issue of Octane magazine. It has a feature article on this car including chassis number information.
Thanks for the tip bigodino I was too late to hit the news stand when I got your reply but here is my blog with 5 of the open wheel Ferraris present last weekend :- http://psychoontyres.blogspot.com/2011/09/goodwood-revival-5-ferrari-open-wheel.html
Why would anybody allow Gerhard Berger drive their car? My father watched him race a BMW many years ago at Adelaide and he was brutal on the poor car ... unless he has softened he that is not the sort of person to drive a historic car. Pete
I have ridden with many race drivers, and some, are just brutal on the machines. No wonder they broke down so much! I am no Gerhard Berger friend, but I'd surely be upset if he brought (not) back my car in a twisted ball... Regards, Alberto
For this particular incident the rear end of the car locked up under braking, pitched him onto the damp grass and after that he was just a passenger. No idea whether the rear end locking up was a result of a mechanical issue or driver error.
T'was,we were there. Our Jim would have won except for the timing of the pace car and a tardy pit stop. He was seated a row away from us when we left to come home on Singa airlines,he thought he'd come in 5th.It was 4th.I donated an Octaine mag as commiserations(he probably has it framed).
There's a (picture) thread in the Dutch F-Chat section too: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338168 (many pictures)
