Remember Wanderlai Silva's win vs Rampage? Remember Shoguns win against Rampage? Well everyone, You'll be putting Jone's win in that catagory after Sat. night! Unfortunately!!!!! I'd love to see Rampage win, But i won't happen!!!!!

Lots of MMA action this past weekend, with not only the UFC, but Titan and Dream as well.

Tuned into Titan to watch both Brett Rogers and Jamie Varner fight (not each other!). I have to say, they both looked terrible, especially Varner. I was surprised when the UFC had released Varner, but maybe now understand.

Aoki was amazing in his fight, certainly one of the most dangerous ground guys. The rest of the fights I watched were quite entertaining.

As for the UFC, love him or hate him, Nate Diaz looked as good as he ever has in his win over Gomi. Very impressive. The rest of the fights were entertaining as well. I was really hoping that Rampage would have taken the belt, but that was a tall order against Jones. I would say Jackson has looked better against Bones than anyone we've seen Jones face so far. C'mon Dana...........how about Anderson Silva against Jon Jones at 205.......that would be an incredible fight.

Hughes looked pretty good right out of the gate, but Kos is simply the better fighter now. Kos has the advantage in every aspect.

The fights were pretty good this weekend. Quinton did look the best he's looked in a while. How do you see Machida up against Jones??? I really think that would be a very interesting fight. Hughes did look good out of the gate. but that Kos... Man is he good. Dislike the guy but I do give him credit. I missed the whole Titan event but caught glimpses of the Dreams. Aoki is great but it was against Razor Rob. What did you expect????? Look into Bellator. It's on MTV2. That is a great event also. I love there concept of a 8 man tournament to see who deserves a shot at the title.

Yeah, forgot about Ballator...........I guess my MMA plate was pretty full anyways.

Machida would pose an interesting challenge, but even with all of his elusiveness, it would be very difficult to overcome Jones' lengthy limbs. I think a huge part of why Jones is so good is his reach. If he was of average height and reach, I don't think he'd be anywhere close to the threat he is now.

I'm still not sold on Jones. I feel like anyone who comes into that fight ready to be the aggressor will be able to beat him quite decisively. It's been mentioned before, but Rampage looked fantastic. Jones' reach was simply too much for him to overcome. Not the end of the world and Rampage has nothing to be ashamed of.

I'd really like to see Hendo go against Jones, now that he's back in the UFC......

You really think Dan would have any chance against Jones? I think Evans is going to be a great test for Jones....

I don't see Hendo doing anything to Jones. Evans will be a great test. I bet he knows alot of Jones' weaknesses and supposably he has Jones Number in training??????

For me, Hendo is still one of the greatest fighters in the game today. Hendo is an absolute master in the clinch, which is one way to nullify Jones' length advantage.

Evans will certainly pose a challenge to Jones, but I think Hendo would pose even more of one.

I predict Evans will be slaughtered by Jones. No one is beating him IMHO.

Best fight is Anderson Silva / Jon Jones - pick 'em

    Pick 'em for this weekend;

UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III
    Date: Oct 08, 2011
    Location: Houston, Texas
    Venue: Toyota Center
    Broadcast: Pay-per-view and Spike TV

    MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

Champ Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard (for lightweight title) I am a big fan of Edgar. He has more heart than most fighters.
Champ Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian (for featherweight title) I think Aldo will show KenFlo a whole new world.
Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann Sonnen will GnP Stann to a win.
Melvin Guillard vs. Joe Lauzon Melvin has finally arrived. He has a good shot at the belt the way he is going.
Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Phan This should be quite the war, as all of Garcia's fights are.

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

Demian Maia vs. Jorge Santiago Maia has ever improving standup, and of course, is off the charts in BJJ.
Anthony Pettis vs. Jeremy Stephens Pettis will have his hands full, but should be able to take it.

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook)

    Joey Beltran vs. Stipe Miocic
    Darren Elkins vs. Tiequan Zhang
    Eric Schafer vs. Aaron Simpson
    Steve Cantwell vs. Mike Massenzio

I'm so pumped for this stacked card tomorrow. I just Hope Edgar wins and Sonnen gets his A** kicked! I'd like to see Kenflo win even though i'm a huge Aldo fan. He just showed some flaws last fight. Not a fan of Guillard's but he will CRUSH Louzan! Maia I hope wins, Pettis vs Stephens... Great match-up. I'd like to see??? Toss up. Either one. Oh yeah, did I mention: i'd LOVE to see Sonnen get his A** KICKED!

Sonnen's record is so unimpressive. He hasn't stopped a fighter since 2007. And it was a nobody. Almost all his wins are decisions. 11 losses. He just had a good showing against the Champ and lost. Maybe styles make fights. Don't mind me, im just venting. Go on with your day. A great BJJ guy will beat him easily. Just like Maia did and how he got choked out by A. Silva.

Sonnen is a punk. He said on MMA junkie he's the most respectful fighter... what a joke. He's a juicer, he's corrupt in his day job as a realtor. When doesn't he cheat?? He only exists cos he talks smack, otherwise no one would care about him. I wish he would get cut and go away.

Haha..............no love lost on Sonnen with you guys! Even if you hate him, you cannot deny that he is probably the best wrestler in the division. He can take anyone down whenever he wants, which is what he'll do to Stamm tonight, and then to Silva when he gets his rematch. He just has to avoid getting submitted while he's GnPing away.
