Love the video as I was one of the fortunate few who was standing there when all this happened. What a thrill to hear it run!

I'd love to see it out on track sometime for the full experience.

Interesting that the F50 GT doesn't have shields. First time I noticed that.

Isn't that unusual for a race car?

It was never technically a race car...as it never raced. Maybe that was the reason.

I love how the carbon around the exhaust pipes is just roughly cut out. Looks like a kid did it with a scalpel in science class.

    Thanks for the comments!

It's funny that rossacorsa13 mentioned the exhaust opening. That is the one thing I kept noticing when doing the editing.

Thanks for sharing the video, never noticed that about the shields before.

Does anybody know if the 3 cars are identical as in no shields and crude exhaust cut outs etc or is each one individual. ?

None of them have shields - they would have to be super small or have some strange contours given the shape of the front fenders. Compare the flares on the GT with the standard F50 fender below that does carry the shields.

The two cars built by Michelotto have some silver surrounds around the exhaust outlets in the bumper. Not sure if they are plated metal or just some kind of high temp tape. The second picture is #002 in Japan. The third shot is #003 when it was in Australia.

I recall reading a magazine interview/article/track ‘test’ with Art Zafiropoulo, his F50GT and his Dino 206 S years back. Sweet rides!

Thanks for posting pics to confirm. I suppose regardless of the lack of space available for regular f50 shields, there would of been the unnecessary extra weight of the shields, as it's intended use was to track, however heavy or lite they are it all counts.
