    This weekend's Petit Le Mans looks great: a 58-car field with all the heavy hitters, including Audi and Peugeot among the prototypes and no fewer than 7 Ferrari 458s in the GT class! And the weather looks fine, if a bit cool on Saturday.

    So who's coming from the Carolinas?

    I'm leaving Raleigh tomorrow afternoon, picking up a friend in Greensboro, will be near R/A ~ 10PM.

    If you are looking for a kick-butt place for excellent wings & 300-400 different beers, look for Taco Mac...don't let the name fool you.

    Second child will be born this weekend so I will have to settle for Speedvision and my trip to Motorsports on Main last week. I hope everyone has a fun and safe time. Please post some photos when you get back.

    Congratulations and good luck! That's as good a reason to miss a race as I can think of. I'll be posting photos on the South Central forum.

    Congrats, Keith!!! Too bad they didn't air a thing til today I don't think.

    Jim, good running into you. Looking forward to some pictures. I rarely take any pictures at races anymore, I save all my picture time for SEMA each November now it seems.

    Anybody that missed it missed out big time, the weather was the best it's ever been.

    Thanks Andy, didnt realize you were on fchat. I saw your car downtown when I went to Motorsports on Main, the new wheels look great.

    Had to catch the actual race on ESPN3, pretty good coverage. Glad you had a great time, hopefully I can attend next year.

    What a great race and a great weekend! The Ferrari VIP area was off the chain! The food and drinks were flowing and the view of the race was awesome! Marco, President of Ferrari N/A was there hanging out with us all day on Saturday. I was able to get a few items autographed by him which was great!
    The Risi boys crashed out so the drivers were able to hang out with us for a bit throughout the day too... (Jamie didn't show though... I'm sure after crashing the 458, he wasn't going to party much)
    It was an awesome weekend so I hope that if you missed it, you'll make plans to make it next year!
