    Hmmmmm...compared to a GTO: the hood is different, the wheels are obviously different, the vent behind the driver's side door looks different, the tail pipes look different, and maybe some other things that I am not noticing. Does it look a little long, especially in the first picture? It could be a disguised 599 replacement. Total speculation, obviously. An easy (and non conspiracy theory) answer is that it is a 599 HGTE with GTO front and rear bumpers.

    To me the hips look a little pumped. As if the car underneath has a narrower mid-section.

    Most likely is a mule for the replacement to the 599. It has HGTE rims, GTO hood, the rear glass looks out of proportion, and the front bumper looks "off"

    Not exactly a GTO hood. The GTO has a ridge down the midline of the hood.

    In the video as it travels away from the camera, the single exhaust pipe on each side is different than either the GTO or 599. And, it is bigger. Must be a mule.

    Very interesting spot because I think its more than likely this car is in part carrying the drivetrain for the 599 replacement.

    The strange thing is that the gear-changes don't really sound like those resulting from a double-clutch gearbox.

    Yay :)

    I much prefer what Lamborghini did with the Aventador, single clutch (MUCH lighter) yet still 50ms shifts in race mode, and you actually feel them!

    DCG is fascinating and all...but I don't like seamless shifts.

    Believe it or not, I agree ;)

    That being said, I will be VERY surprised if the 599 replacement won't have a DCT.

    looks to be a modified 599.....maybe an employee threw together extra parts on his car LOL!
