Um....the first was the 350GT Roy! :) LOL LOL

I think I know that lp400... LOL LOL

If it's the one I think it is, I've driven it ... and worked on it ... and been through ups and downs with it, as well as with the previous owner.

Fun car, but nowhere as comfortable and quiet and solid and beautiful as the 350/400gt.

Anyway, have fun with it in soggy Washington! LOL LOL

    Cheers,

    Fred

Your right...I am so SORRY..I keep forgetting that the GREAT car world started and ended with your 1 million dollar ONE of only 1/2 ever produced car..please accept my apology....

AND dont worry about the in-correct attemptes you made to correct this LP400 in your past experiance...Steve from www.drivenexotics.com corrected it all to perfection..I am sure it should get at least $150K at the next auction I bring it to....

The one thing that really strikes me is the difference in size between the two cars. Both cars are equally stunning.

    nice!
the pics makes clear the size difference

diablo was already too big imo but the murcielago looks like a giant compared to the LP400

i really like countach and expecially the 400, 400S

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

It's the first Lamborghini that set the tone for the modern era...no more "Ferrari-want-to-be.."

Actually, I was surprised how that even thought the M is way bigger. It's nothing compared to a to the last of the angular Ferraris ( 355 )to the 458. Gawd..that thing...while great lines is HUGE!

The CT is still WAY MORE EXOTIC!! I'd take it...but with the wider rims and flares any day over the Murci.

    hi Shamile
    i like diablos! :)

but honestly the countach is the perfect size for a sport car
diablo is a great car but if it has a fault is to be a bit too big

I admit to having a preference but, the Countach blows the Murcielago, Gallardo and Aventador out of the water. Always the king of the road

+1. I saw one here the other day (not many here in the desert...!) and even though I quite actually like the looks in real life (on jpegs it looked ****!) I couldn't get over the size of the thing.

I think that used to be mine.

Is there a build thread on the LP400 in the 1st pic?

No matter how you look at it, the countach looks so much better and nimbler. The others look like trucks near it.

say Roy, know what would be amazing?

A really great write up comparing the two rides. Few people are fortunate enough to drive one Lamborghini from any era. To be in the position to drive a very early model and a very late model in the same day deserves a comprehensive write up.
