Hi All...just a brief note to those who are not yet involved with the 400s...we just completed a 3000 + mile jaunt fron Ct to VA and WVA which included a 1000 mile Rallye through some of the greatest road short of the mountain roads of Italy. Our 412 showed a clean pair of heels to a bunch of somewhat surprised drivers of other brands....we ran cool and dry without a single stumble so anyone worried about reliablity on these cars...all you need to do is maintain them properly and drive the heck out of them...all the best, Marc

But you are right. The 400 never let me down. I have owned a lot of cars from the same period, but the 400 kicks @$$ on reliablity (,and on comfort, and on sound, and on power, and NOT on fuel consumption :D

Who was the event sponsor? I have run several events with the MidAtlantic region of FCA including the WV High event last year. That was not a long event. The 2-seaters never lost me except on sharp uphill turns and if I had a 5-speed that would not have happened either.

The event sponsors were Rich and Jean Taylor of Vintage Rallies...the event ran for four days through some of the best roads you can find in Va. and WVA. We've run 4 or five of their rallies both in that area as well as in New England and they do a terrific job.
