Anyone know where I can get a CTEK smart battery maintainer (or similar) in HK?
I can find them on Amazon but it seems they cannot ship to HK?
    Thanks

Use MyUS.com and buy from Batterytender.com. Much much better than CTEK. If you really want a CTEK, IMSS carries them with a Ferrari logo which adds just a tad to the price...

    Thanks DM,

I can always count on you for good tips. The MyUS.com is a great one. I have found many options on line in USA but never been able to ship when I try to set up delivery. Having a US address for package forwarding is a great idea.

The Battery tender Plus 12V looks to be the right one for my purpose. The only major difference is that the VTEK one has some (patented) 3.12Mhz modulation in the charging current which apparently desulfates the battery (causes the sulphates forming on the plates to dissolve back into the acid). I am presuming the Ferrari standard batteries are still sealed lead acid even if they are maintenance free? Just wondering whether there is benefit to having that.

    Thanks again for the tips.

Alternatively I have seen a number of Solar options and given my car sees daylight and even a little sun late in the day, and its a PITA to get power into our car park bays (still working on a permanent solution for that), whether a solar option might work even better.

No idea. I have been very happy with Batterytender. Mine works pretty much 24 hours a day every day as it rotates from one car and motorcycle to another and has done so for about 3 years. I have power outlets so this is no problem for me. I only use CTEK on my new Ferraris that have the plug built in

    Thanks DM

Have ordered this Batteryminder SCC005 Solar Charger. It has battery conditioner and the panel is about the size of the front number plate. Could not have got it shipped without myUS.com.Thanks!. I would also not have discovered the solar option if you had not introduced me to the Batterytender site...who also have a solar option. Thanks again!

I will let you know how it works. Failing that, its paying building management to put a socket near my car (if I can get them to do it!). They have installed a "temporary" extension already, but I dont know how long they will leave it, even though it is cable tied right across the ceiling pipes, quite neatly!
Then I might try the Batterytender....or CTEK.
I will leave that decision until later.

p,s, Great day today to be out with the top down. Fantastic. May slip away from work earlier and go for a further drive on the way home!

    Thanks
    PAUL
