    I have tried everything I can think of. I just bought a new laptop and want to print to my office printer. It is a Epson Artisan 800 printer and I was able to print to it a few times last week. For some reason now it does not see it. I have my laptop on a Shared Home Network with my office computer. Any suggestions?

    What changed?

    Is it still listed under "Printers" on the laptop? Or has it gone AWOL completely? [It *must* have been there at some point.....]

    Not listed under Printers at all. Does not see it --Tried using the original printer disk and installing the drivers. Nothing..

    I would unplug the printer and turn off the computer. Turn it on and see if that works.

    If not, try "add printer" and see if it shows up. You may have tried that though.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys--I fixed the problem--Went to Best Buy, bought new printer, followed installation directions, all works.... Needed a new printer anyway, gave the other to my son for his computer in his room which is not wireless, so works fine for him...
