Cuoio Toscana is an upgrade on Ferrari standard leather, however the leather is semi aniline with surface depth, a little stiffer to the touch. It is more like high end English leather. The beauty of Ferrari leather has been the use of high end italian furniture grade leather ( Schedoni ) soft, pliable, smooth and beautifully dyed. Now in the Semi Aniline range they go one step further specially treating the skin. The intent is enhanced durability as well as surface character complimenting the 4 season abilities of the FF.
don't know where topost it and ask about it...but someone have already the dealer spec. in pdf for the FF ? (from Modis for example..) with all things available from factory ? thanks Ivo

Very Nice! I particularly like the little detail of nero stitching on all nero leather: One of my few complaints about my current car is the reflected stitching lines in the windshield. Can't wait to see pics of the car when you get it!
What a great spec, big thanks for sharing! You will be a very happy man. How long do you plan to keep the car? I'd love to buy it in a few years
It depends on my driving reaction to it. If a tad too sedate I will trade for the 599 successor within the year, however I have high hopes of a positive experience. I did find my 575 a bit of space pig but loved the rear wheel drive cornering. Since I am of an age when all my racing was with post war rear wheel drive cars I have never been entirely on the edge with today's mid engined marvels. In fact after my Four Corners Expedition in the 458 I longed for the 575 with a DCT transmission and voila here is the FF ! I have BMW 1M Coupe coming in the fall for the boy racer in me and inexpensive tracking. So maybe the 458 will be the next to leave the stable.
At the park avenue showing of the FF, the representative said the glass roof will not be available for at least two years, he said the car still had to be crash tested. I read in a previous thread the roof should be available soon....go figure
A you know I had a 575 for 3 years ! I have owned 2cyl,4cyl,6cyl,8cyl, 10cyl and 12cyl cars.I guess I could buy Rowan Atkinson's 16 cyl Rolls Royce Phantom for the total experience !
Cariad- No 2 or 10 cylinder for me. What was the 10 cylinder? Would like a 4 cylinder Ferrari, a TRC preferably. Not much prettier than that. Way, way too expensive, though, and the A/C does not work well at all. Have had 6, 8, and 12 cylinder Ferraris. Multiples of 6 work best for me. 500 TRC below. RHD does not bother either of us. Blue Pozzie is unbelieveablly beautiful color - the best for a 612 - i only own track oriented Ferraris but I almost bought a used 612 from California just because of the color and the curio interior - I believe the calipers were yellow
I just sold my pozzie 612 this week it was a sessanta great car going to replace with a pozzie 612. I agree the color is great on both cars.
I know all the arguements for being patient and letting someone else take the brunt of the depreciation beating. But, just once, i want the thrill of having a car done my way. I think the new 7 year Ferrari maintainance plan also pushed me over the edge. You only live once. I stopped by FoNE yesterday and spec'd one out: Blu Mirabeau Standard rims/center caps Giallo calipers Chromed grille Shields Sport exhaust Front/rear parking sensors Lifter kit Bicolour rear view mirrors Cuoio ventilated Daytona seats/ Cuoio inserts / Blu stitching Cuoio package shelf Cuoio steering wheel/airbag - carbon-fibre w/ rev lights Blu scuro dash / door inserts / trim Cuoio quilted headliner/ Blu Stitching Blu Seatbelts Carbon fibre driver zone / trim / kickplates Blu scuro carpets / trunk carpets Passenger information center Electrochromic mirrors Premium Hi-fi Giallo rev counter FoNE is delivering their first FF end of Oct/ early Nov. I want to look at it before they deliver it, then finalize my choices and enter them in MODIS. I'll post the configurator pics when I get back to my computer
Wow, big congratulations! That's a fantastic spec. I saw the FF for the first time in the flesh yesterday and have to say it looks even better than I thought. That is such a special car it will definitely redefine the usability of a Ferrari. Can't wait to see your pictures, did you get the semi-aniline leather? It has a great durable and comfortable feel to it
I don't think you can go wrong in choosing leather on a Ferrari The blu scuro dash will be very interesting to see. Blu Mirabeau is a great metallic color too, with the blue stitching and quilted roof this car will be very plush, but of course with 660 hp! I'm curious, do you have a family that will ride a long with you? What about driving in the snow/mountains?
