Steering wheel adjustment question

I've adjusted the rake on most of my older cars that include 308's, Daytona's and Boxer's.

The proceedure was the same with all three. Remove the leather covered trim piece at the bottomm of the steering wheel, about where your knees hit. It is ususlly held on by two small trim screws. From there you can see the mechanisam that adjusts the rake. Loosen the bolt and adjust.

 

What year/model? The rake and height of the steering wheel on the 308/328/Boxer/TR are not independently adjustable (because the whole steering wheel assembly pivots about a fixed horizontal axis), but often the steering wheel gets adjusted into the full-up position (to help people get their legs under the steering wheel when getting in-out of the car) and this full up position also gives the most angle to the steering wheel plane. Better solution IMO is to use a smaller diameter steering wheel and lower the steering wheel (which brings the steering wheel plane into a more vertical position).
