    Probably a repost but worth watching. Carrier decks are not for the faint hearted who just got out of bed.

    yes..i saw that video and others worse during our carrier training...you have to be attentive..

    I have an older VCR tape of that from the 90's with an explanation of the events.
    IIRC the inlet necks-down right before the blades. His helmet got eaten but fortunately stopped at that.........mostly.
