I was offered a beautiful Camargue and I am very tempted to buy.

Does anybody of this community has any good or bad experience with the Camargue ?

    Regards
    Jimmy

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

It`s really hard to find somebody owning and reporting about their experience with a Camargue.

Too many people find the design of the Camargue strange compared to the conservative styling of other RR models. But in some colours the Camargue looks really good -like the one on the pic you attached.

I do like the Camargue, they are definately different. You would not see yourself at every corner, even at RR Club meets. We are in the market for a RR Silver Spur II. They really are neat cars.

Not universally-loved for its looks but certainly imposing, distinctive and hard to miss!

I had no idea about this fact (from Wikipedia):

    Interesting article here:

I always felt like the Camargue was a more modern interpretation of the Silver Cloud III MPW fixed head coupe, but didn't quite fit the bill. Who knows though. I think that someday, the Camargue could come into its own and develop a stronger following in the collector market. It's got a great story.

I have a 1980 Camargue. I enjoy looking at it, but not driving it. I guess I'm not a Rolls person.

It's not the best example and I have other projects(GTC,3.0CS,1960 wood boat) demanding attention. I've decided to sell so some one can enjoy the car. If anyone here has interest, please contact me.

Don, what color is your Camargue?
You always have the most interesting cars.
I really liked your former fiberglass 308 that you brought out to the track at Summit.
