Mondial P.I., I like that. You need the sliding wheelspin throwing dirt into the camera...better grow a moustache first though... I can lend you my dog for the opening scene where he jumps up on the paint... and please don't forget the girl-in-bikini shot... Dave
I've had this internal struggle regarding whether I thought the Mondial was a pretty car, mainly because the design was just so plain and it isn't usually the favorite Ferrari of most enthusiasts. But I've finally decided that it's simplicity is it's beauty and that the fact that it isn't most peoples' favorite Ferrari makes it unique. And I agree, when you catch this car at the right angle, there really are some hidden curves you don't notice. What a mysterious and amazing car. Great pictures everyone
I went to two car shows yesterday. Many fine Ferraris, many 3X8s, but no Mondials. When I told people I had one they always asked "where, I want to see it." Sadly not with me right now. They are a very interesting car. For me I like the practicality. A fantastic car for an extended roadtrip. Fold down the rear seats and load it up. I'm about to go on a trip for several hundred miles and have a large suitcase, no problem. At this point in my life it is hard to justify a vehicle that doesn't have a lot of utility. Even my motorcycle has luggage and I've loaded firewood on the back rack for camping. I can put a 6 pack in each side or many groceries. I keep bungies in the side cases and I've strapped cases of beer to the back rack and also large tools like a saws all or tool box. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks Dave, I can do the wheelspin with dirt, the dog jumping on the paint, -doh, my wife in the bikini, but being "ornamental" I can't seem to grow a decent moustache! lol Cheers!
Just got my new leather boot cover, looks really nice over the canvas boot! Cheers! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Major service + deferred maintaince and complications kept car in shop from January until 2 weeks ago, but back just in time for fall! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So I really have to ask, you went 10 months without getting the Mondial back from the shop ? wow, I know some slow shops that like to keep Ferrari's forever, but that's ridiculous! They could have made you another Mondial in 10 months. lol
In my case it took longer than I would like but my guy was stand-up, took ownership of any issues that arose on his end, and did a lot of extras on his own ticket that I would have ultimately done (and paid for) myself. Believe me over the time that passed I thought about starting my own ranting thread on here, but that would not get me my car back any sooner, nor would it have come out the other side as nice as it has.

You just need to fire up the car and go for a drive, it isn't that far, only about 4000 miles each way if you see the sights.
These pictures really make me smile! I can't tell you how happy it makes me that my beloved Mondial when to someone who can really appreciate it.
