Luitpold von Finck of Germany was the original owner. For whatever reason, I was under the impression that he'd never sell it. He held onto it for a while before it hit the market in 2008, at which time it was simultaneously advertised at Hanisch Automobile in Starnberg, and Alain Exclusive & Sport Motors in Cairo. At the time, it was advertised with 7,800 KM on the odometer, and with an asking price of €1,190,000.

Then, off the radar until March of this year, and with just 1,000 KM added to the clock, it came up for sale at Autogalerie Kux in Monheim.

And now, thanks to Andrew, we know that it's on its way to Hong Kong.

Friend on another forum took this shot of a black Enzo in Miami outside his work a few years ago and was wondering if the collective of 'experts' here could identify it and possibly share any details. My first fear was that it might have been Stefan Eriksson's black Enzo, but I dismissed that quickly when I found a video showing a different UK plate on that car.

The black car that Fat Steffy brought here was 137331. The Enzo in your picture is either 137341 or 138xxx; I believe it's 138xxx.

Both the car in your picture and the black Eriksson car are back in the UK. The car in your picture was at Chelsea Auto Legends (experiencing the joys of an English summer like the rest of us) on Sunday.

Is it definitely Rubino? I can never quite tell.

 

is it possibly a respray? as i've never seen the rear bracing bars (under engine cover) painted to match body color

it looks like a great color though!
