    The 993 is still a great looking car! I like the turbo brakes and speedline wheels. The 95s don't have the secondary air injection which plug up and cause the cel to come on.

    Sorry for the delayed response regarding the wheels, they are not real Speedlines, however, they are Porsche approved replicas from France. Not real but still look nice.

    The previous owner had the Brembo "big reds" installed and with the wheels it looks good.

    Nice car !!!........now it if was mine, I'd get rid of the basket handle rear light and buy the 993 RS rear spoiler, some front brake ducts and then I'd have the 993 RS look.

    Those wheels look great. The used 993RS is hugely expensive in Europe and were never sold new here. However the 1995 RS models are now 15 years old...

    The 993 is the best car they ever made. I had a 97 C2S and regret selling it. You could literally feel the build quality when driving. The 993 body is like the 355, timeless. Best of luck with your new black beauty.

    Really nice.

    I'm looking to replace my ex-98 4S with a 98 2S. I'd prefer the OBDI, unfortunately I have a weakness for the wide hips...which cost ~$60K. Hard to believe what clean 993's are bringing.

    Once again I must apologize for the delay in responding, I thought the thread was fading away and suddenly I have a look and there you are.

    I have a severe weak spot for these cars, the 993’s as well as the 3.2’s, simply fantastic cars that are extremely enjoyable to drive. It’s difficult to explain unless you have experienced it yourself, and those of you who have certainly know what I’m talking about.

    While it is true these so called “last of the air-cooled” cars are bringing strong money there are some good buys on very good cars.

    I’m also looking to replace a void left by the sale of my GT2 a few weeks ago, it may be easier replacing the car than the grin left on your face after an exhilarating ride.

    Anyway guys, enjoy what is left of the season and remember “DRIVE HARD, SMILE A LOT”

    I had a '96 cab, triple black. Beautifully built, zero rattles, perfect gaps everywhere, and it sounded great.

    I would actually say it was much better built than anything Ferrari has built, even the 328.

    I purchased my 1988 328 GTS with 18,000 miles, Roso Corsa a real stunning sports car and fun to drive. I remember driving the car home after purchasing it, the ride was approximately 2 hours mostly highway. Several thumbs up and many looks.

    The next day I took my 88 911 Carrera for a drive, I must say the the ride was very different, the sport seats were comfortable and snug, the steering was tight and the shifting was smooth.

    I have no concerns with my Porsche's, they start, they go and service straight forward.

    You need the side skirts to your RS version and it would look better witht the newly acquired vehicle's Speedline replicas!

    RS man, I agree it would really set the car off, how is the market for air-cooled Porsche cars over in Scotland?

    I understand the market in Europe is quite strong but I'm more interested in finding out about specific countries rather than Europe as a whole, can you offer any insight?
