Saw it in the news late last night but didn't have the time to watch. 2nd death after the US incident just 2 weeks back? Heard that his helmet fell off during impact...

    RIP Marco

Some of my Italian friends run big bikes in Sepang, must've been a sad day for them.

1000% agree. I saw the photos and was disgusted .. as true fans they should understand that none of the riders or teams wanted to go racing. It wasn't like "he might be ok" and the death announced after the race ... he was publicly declared dead within an hour of the accident .. and obviously the teams etc knew that beforehand. Anyone watching the race live or on TV knew there was never going to be a good outcome.

Are you fkg kidding me??? There is no generalisation here and nationality has absolutely nothing to do with anything!!!! I'm Australian .. does that mean that I am unable to critcise Malaysians (or any other non-Australian nationality for that matter) MotoGP fans for their unsympathetic reaction to the death of a star rider?

Fact is .. the race was in Malaysia .. the accident happened in Malaysia .. and the fans at the Malaysian MotoGP reacted distastefully to the cancelation of the race. Any other race .. in any other country .. a similar reaction deserves the exact same comment. And before you go there .. it doesn't matter whether the fans were Malaysian, Singaporeans, Australians or Aliens .. anyone who reacts like that cannot call themselves a FAN.

I'm sorry I don't know you (I think) but your ridiculous statement rates as one of the most idiotic comments I've ever read on this thread .. ever!

ps If I'm not mistaken .. DrPitchard IS Malaysian

Apparently, Marco does many charity as well with Cesvi. Quite a gem for a young man like him.

Guys think that the comment on generalisations stemmed from the comment stupid Malaysians, brainless and heartless AS USUAL. That comment is a generalization, a non generalization would have been along the lines of all of us agreeing that the vast majority of those at the grand stand reacted in an appalling manner. No need to over react guys.

YEah, I am Malaysian! My comment was like that because when I watched the LIVE telecast on TV, they showed Malaysians throwing rubbish onto the track, and foreigners/Westerners were just watching them do so.....

Harold .. when you sold your GT3 did you sell your track wheels & tyres, or are you using them for the SL? I have a friend who recently bought a GT3RS & would be interested in buying them off you if you aren't using them.

Very sad & sounds like even the authorities are covering up. Wonder if this kind of civic mind only happens in China these days. Saw a news sometime back that a mum has to use a shovel to collect the remains of a son after trucks ran over him.....I'm only glad to be well alive in a more civilised society here.

Strangely I was @ the gents today & thought about the slogan that China used to run in their loos, you get to read this "向前一小步,文明一大步" which means one small step forward to a greater civilised world. Very Armstrong stuff :D but then reality seems to tell us otherwise about the society there.
