Owner's daily rides..

I'd DD it if I owned it. I'll be ready in a year or two to buy one. Right now I DD my tuned 335is. It's at 600/600 hp/lb-ft at the crank. Have a 1998 Expedition for snow, fishing, towing, etc. Wife DDs a CTS-V Coupe, 6 speed manual.

Amazing! I'm happy for you! And yes, it is the coupe. I'm only 26, so I hope to get one before the big three zero. Wife said house first, Ferrari later. So I'm halfway there and enjoying my Bavarian stallion!

When I'm in Vegas, it's my primary car. If I need to go grocery shopping or something like that, I use my Maserati Spider.

 

I take it out everyday in the evenings except Fridays I use it the whole day I mainly use my (997) 911 turbo or Merc S500

 

My 458 is my DD. When i get lazy, i get on my 7 series with my chauffeur. I am away for work about 10 days a month 2 cars is more than enough.

 

Twin Garrett ball bearing turbos, bms dual cone intake, ASR stage 2 clutch, exhaust and dps, intercooler, and ECU.

My Bentley GTC was my daily ride during the summer and Range Rover was the foul weather and winter car. Then I got the 458 and the GTC just kind of sits there in the garage. I love the GTC but after driving the 458 it feels like driving a Cadillac. Today it rained so I drove the Rover. Tomorrow I hope it is nice out so I can drive the 458. I figure once it starts snowing here and salt is on the rode I will only use the Rover until Spring. Maybe in spring the GTC will tempt me again. My "Justification for Higher Education" poster I had hanging in my room during teenage years hangs in my garage now. Same poster I found in my parent's attic a few years ago. Years of postgraduate education and 100 hour workweeks that were at times miserable but totally worth it for these toys....

I'm banking on a few years, I hope in around 2014. And thanks! I won't be disappointed if it's past 30, but I mean, the sooner the better! I'm straightening my career out and building my reputation, I expect this is take a year or two. In the mean time, I am saving a large sum of my outside income; which is pretty substantial. I need security before I splurge on wants. My cars are paid for, and my mortgage is getting there. My wife understands my desires, and as soon as we get the house paid off, It's free ridin'!

I love seeing all the photos of you guys' cars, in all the sections. Just seeing the pictures brings a smile to my face, for I know everyone was like me at some point, dreaming of the day they get theirs; and now that dream has came true for them!

I'm glad it's working out for you man. I'm definitely more in the dreaming stage, at least for a 458. Have to start smaller.

I'd be too! What color combination are you getting? For me, I'm REALLY liking gzachary's nuevo rosso and nero, with the black racing seats and red stitching. He decked it out in carbon. I'd say that's the I've I'm dreaming about right now. I'd probably so something like that. That's another fun part of dreaming; pondering about which color you like the best. They're all so nice though! You can get a completely different look by by just changing the color.

And yes, family first! No matter how much I love cars, I'll still love my wife more. We've known each other since grade school.

Sweet, I'm not the only one in the 20 crew! Hopefullly he'll hand a great car over to you, eh? And I love it, it can out run my wife's. I'm done modding it for now, I'm pleased! It has back seats, a really nice interior, a sweet sounding engine, SO much torque, and it looks great.


And hell, I definitely wouldn't wanna pay for it! Rosso corsa may be fine.

Just got the 911. Eh, I can see why people drive these daily. Very livable car and you don't lose your mind if someoen bumped it and you can drive it in the rain without freaking out. I'll probably sell it and get an RS5 when they finally release it. Wife hates the 911.
