great work! Not that I'm always considering it yet; but don't forget to consider the background/foreground too I've got a number of new ones I'm working on pre-SEMA.
That is absolutely incredible, I'm not a fan of the background though. I never could get into off camera flash.
Thanks! Yeah my camera goes to 30 second shutter speed before it hits bulb and I don't have a remote (need to get one) so I was limited on what I could "paint" but I definitely want to try it with the background and foreground next time. Maybe tonight I can try painting different parts and then put them together. Jeeeez!!! Now my shot looks like garbage! Phenomenal shot and lighting. -G.B.
With a rubber band and something to squeeze on top of the shutter you should be able to use the bulb setting and leave the camera in order to paint. It's easier to do this with a remote but for long exposures camera shake is usually not a big problem when you go to close the shutter. You can also put the lenscap back on prior to undoing the rubber band. Give it a try.
I thought about the rubber band and tried it, but it wouldn't hold the shutter down and I didn't know what to put under the rubber band to hold the shutter. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks! -G.B.
just 10 seconds of brake light exposure. expose for 10 to 12 seconds... Put the camera on 10s delay. That's what I do

http://www.adorama.com/AZVSB36.html Something like this would work. The one I picked up houses 4 65 watt CFL's on two breakers, and is larger; and was around $400 incl. the stand and lights. I don't use the stand that often; but sometimes. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
