Think I already know the answer to this, but is the Abarth manual only? I checked out the UK site and it seemed that way. Wasn't sure if they might be selling it now with a DSG-like gearbox.
As far as the U.S. market is concerned, no official specs will be released until next month, when the car debuts at the L.A. Auto Show.

My thoughts too. I am not a fan of dark wheels. Also, is it lowered? Must keep in mind though, these are not beauty shots and it may have few more tweaks before debut. Plus, if it has 150 HP or more I would happily mod it with new or painted wheels!
Hehe...I *love* the dark wheels. Per Fiat500Abarth.us and the guy who found this car and spoke with the engineer driving it: The car will have 160HP stock but there will be dealer-installed "tuning kit" options to get it to 200HP.

Looks pretty nice. If they don't overprice it to much it might get some of the Mini/Japanese tuner market. It's all about price and availablilty. This is not a limited edition Ferrari, so they need to mass market them at a good price to sell like crazy. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
Can't wait to see these things zipping around. It's gonna be a real fun car to drive and very very unique so let's hope gets the pricing right and marketing too. A 200hp Abarth SS sounds tempting.
I'm in love, but I pray they do not make it a "Mopar" add on. PLEASE keep the Mopar stuff for American muscle, and make Abarth for the Italian brand!
200 would get me excited! I think we have to wait for the LA auto show, which is just around the corner.
It goes with this jacket (yes, I ordered one after seeing DRIVE - it's a replica of the jacket from the film. I'm a movie dork...) Image Unavailable, Please Login
A little too "ghetto" for me! But then, I'm an old fuddy duddy! I do like the Abarth badges replacing the Fiat ones. That is pretty cool --and a surprise. I'm very interested to seeing in in LA.
How long after you bought yours did it come in the mail? I bought mine 2 weeks ago today and I haven't seen one in my mailbox yet. Me wantee! (Same applies to the Abarth!) - Nick

I was thinking of buying one for my wife as a 2nd car. I looked on the net, i see a dealer not too far (20 miles) who has great deals on the Pop version. When i drove there, he says those deals are for military people only (Nowhere was this mentioned on his website). Is this legal? http://www.fiatusaofschaumburg.com/new/FIAT/2012-FIAT-500-c39977a00a0d048d0167a300c8848461.htm
