Kit car made in his basement and the house had to be cut open to get out.
I do not like kit cars but he did amazing fabrication work. He should be very proud.

Sorry, just went through all the photos.....pretty self explanatory.

    Kit? Look again.
Impressed, indeed, with workmanship AND dedication.
I'm curious about it's performance. There seems to be boatloads of torque on tap. Ya think it'll run away and hide from the real thing in an acceleration contest?

While looking for the correct radio for 004, I ran into a fellow who also needed one for a 70's Jaguar restoration. He emailed recently to say he has a spare Philips RN712 for sale.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you his contact info.

The guy who built that car undoubtedly has great skills, but i would ask why bother?
Use those skills to rebuild an actual car so when it's finished you have something that's worth
"something". Maybe he just did it for the challenge or the fun so good for him, but all replicas seem like a waste of time and money imo.

Both were complaints, and both interior space and clearance were addressed. I think interior space was the bigger complaint, because they really were too small inside. I can deal with it for an hour or two drive, but for more frequent use or longer drives, forget it if you are over 6'!!!

Sorry, let me correct myself....not a kit but a replica.
BUT with skills like that it was waste of talent, to me. He should have made a one off body to put on that frame etc.

Peter, You are 100% correct. I contacted Peter Gullwing about the car within 12 hours after they posted on web. He told me he had a deposit already and sold it within the next 12 hours.

James, the car is superb, and the rally clocks are a nice touch. We had them in 1120056 and they always look great!
