San Andreas 2 anybody?

Very excited to see this. Hopefully we aren't too far from release.

 

San Andreas was incredibly fun with a massive map. 4 was okay but with cool graphics but I loved GTA: SA more. So, this should be awesome!

 

I was hoping it to be set in Miami again like Vice City; but LA is also cool. Hopefully GTA6 will return to Miami!

 

I read a rumor that since the logo hints at US Currency that it might be set in Washington DC... levels to include political scandals/corruption.

Only GTA I ever really played was Vice City. Man what a great game that was, I played it to 100% completion. I don't play video games anymore, but this will be interesting to see.

 

Amen, I would give anything for a retooled Vice City. I still play IV and will be going to my local Gamestop on Tuesday to pre-order, can't wait.

I really hope that they bring back the fun aspects of Vice City and San Andreas. While 5 was good it just didn't have some of the things that made the game unique, like the tank, jet pack, hydra, etc. I also missed the satire that was seen in previous versions. Either way I am looking forward to it.

 

I loved Vice City but could never really get into San Andreas... just too much going on. The map was overwhelming and it wasn't as fun. I had the entire map of vice city memorized.

 

One thing I did like about San Andreas was the varied environment. You have deserts and forests and cities and rivers and lakes. You could fly planes and helicopters and boats etc. I really miss being able to buy houses and businesses in Vice City, in IV money had no real purpose.

 

Well this is a buy. GTA IV was a 10 out of 10 for me.

The trailer looks really good. It is back in San Andreas but in the present time.

 

That was incredible, I can't wait.

It looks like it will be heavily centered on heists as well, which I prefer to the constant shooting of the last games. And the possibility of living a normal (non-destructive) life might be there as well.

 

Meh. I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be in Los Angeles.

The best location ever was Vice City.

I was hoping for something completely new.

Still, looks like a great game.

 

Only Los Santos is confirmed. We don't know if San Fierro and Las Venturas will return, but the scene with the windmills does seem promising for that part.

One thing I'd love to see improved is the wanted level/police system.

It'd be nice if the cops only went after you when someone had actually witnessed you committing a crime. It sucks when you fire a gun in an empty alley and the cops are onto you. I'd also be nice to have the cops line of sight be the trigger for losing them. In IV you could be miles from a cop but within the circle and they magically know where you are.

 

so you want Grand Theft auto meets Assassin's Creed? When flying a military vehicle, it would be nice to have a reticule though.

Anyone have any idea why I just completed the very last mission in GTA4, yet under stats, it only shows 62% complete? Is it because I chose to kill characters where it gave me the choice to walk away?

You have to kill all the flying rats, do the jumps, do all the side missions, do all the cop missions etc.

It will take you a while

There was the one mission where Nikko got a Lambo Murcielago.......anyone know how to get that car back if it has been lost?

I find myself using the NRG-900 motorcycle most of the time. It's so easy to zip in between cars.
