Hopefully my copy arrives today :o
I'm beginning to realize I don't have time for games like I once did. when I get back from SEMA, I'm going to list my LCE on ebay. It has the American Muscle car pack. Unopened in shrinkwrap. I'll let fchat users have advance ability to buy it. I also realize that I've got to bump some priorities over others; and unfortunately, the games just can't stick around. Until recently, I was anticipating spending another $180 in games this year. I think the only time I'll have time might be around Christmas.
No This is sad to hear. Just playing the demo while I wait Actually I need to make sure I have all the loyalty cars in FM3 in the garage They should of given a car out for people that 1k'd the game not just lvl50.

i dont want to argue or anything, but the delorean isnt a unicorn. i have it and no achievement. the unicorn cars are: 2002 BMW M3-GTR "Street Version" 1969 Chevy Camaro SS Coupe 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia 2003 Ferrari Challenge Stradale 2007 Shelby GT500 2004 Mugen Civic Type-R 2002 Mugen Integra Type-R 2005 Honda NSX-R GT 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera 2007 Lambo Murciélago LP640 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type-A 2006 Evo HKS Time Attack Evolution CT230R 1993 MINE'S R32 Skyline GT-R 2002 MINE'S R34 Skyline GT-R 2004 Top Secret Silvia D1-Spec S15 2006 Subaru Impreza S204 2002 Top Secret 0-300 Supra u are right though on the profile import. if u did have the delorean in forza 3 it does import. doesnt mean its a unicorn.
LP 640 and the Challange Stradale are unicorn cars... I can see the lambo everyday at my neighbors house but the Stradale was one of the main reason I bought the game, forget playing childish PR games, I just want the freaking Stradale!
I've been "trying" to play Battlefield 3 since Tuesday. Trying is in quotes because the stupid EA servers have been "experiencing issues" since the second it hit stores. I got so fed up with it last night I ran out and bought Forza. I like the importation of cars from FM3. And it feels amazing. I've just done a few beginning races last night but I did take the 599 GTO out for a spin. Oh. My. God!!! Hit me up: Erebus e2 Peter
I hear you. I spent over 3 hours downloading, updating drivers, etc trying to get Battlefield 3 to work Wed. night. Finally got it to work marginally, after finding out my graphics card isn't up to the task.I'll get COD MW3. It's supposed to be more forgiving on system hardware issues.
I'm having the same issues, lol. I even bought an Xbox 360 hoping the online experience would be better then Black OPs for the PS3 ( I can only go 2-3 rounds before some issue pops up on the PS3 ). I couldn't get on the EA Battlefield 3 servers this morning for the Xbox.
That's more because of the actual game Battlefield I would think, Xbox servers are generally really good. If it was the other way around none of the Xbox Live games would work. On topic for Forza 4, I just downloaded the new November DLC earlier today which has the Aventador, Risi Competizione 458 & others. Very fun cars, worth the download.
They do a bunch of giveaways through contests/trivia/random selection on their website forums, facebook and twitter. I usually get lucky and win them early, which is nice because they're getting expensive.
I'm trying to enjoy this game, I really am, but the driving physics just bother me so much. They are great for a console, but I guess I'm just getting too used to games like iRacing on PC. The Forza cars feel like they are floating along the track compared to the PC racing sims I play.
I have to say i htink Forza is almost as good as GT5... the graphics are excellent. and the sounds of the v-12 Ferrari's are spot on. I'm impressed.
Yes, Love the 458... been running it at Road Atlanta, its great... but for me the F40 Comp... is the car... great sound, handles fantastic... I also love running the 250 testa rossa...lots of power and sliding .. .but the thing they have done here is really nailed the sound... I have all the Ferrari's except for the ones I'm not so hot on: 360 612 california FF 599 I guess I'll get those as well just to have a complete set.. but they are not that nice to listen to or look good... real or in the game. Actually the car that sounds great is the Lambo Countach... sounds so real!!! really like this game. Its not as serious as I racing, but the graphics are much better, and I would say its 90% there.... GT5 is just a hair better in terms of car control, but the car sounds are inferior... but the actual modeling of the cars is better in GT5... but not by much. Forza really did their homework. And unlike GT5 all the cars have in interior shot.... My only wish is for the following cars: Ferrari GTO - original 250 body style Ferrari 512 S or M Porsche's to be back in the game & have a 917 as well as 956 Ferrari 308 - 328 - cause its my car... Lotus Europa - type 47 and or S2 or TC Older racing cars - Alfa 8c Auto Union, MB silver arrows, type 35 Bugatti, Blower Bentley Open wheeled cars - F-1, CART Indy etc... Classic LeMans prototype - Mercedes sauber, Renault, Matra.... I know this is all pie in the sky but... one can dream.
Agreed, though when comparing to GT5, I'd rather have 500 cars that are almost perfectly modeled vs having 200 that are perfectly modeled and the rest looking like they were modeled a decade ago.
Hmmm...my feedback would be that when switching from Forza to GT5, it takes me a while to get used to the car control again (feels wildly loose). The steering input is more gradual on Forza. Agree that the car modeling in GT5 is a bit better...actually overall GT5 is just a slightly better looking game. OTOH, Forza REALLY nails the sound. I think Forza is also more accessible...it's easy to just jump into at any time.
