Happy for you. One of my very good friends just got his 458 in White with red interior and it looks awesome. It'll be nice to see a Ferrari, a 458 on top of that, on Chandigarh roads when we visit Chandigarh. My wife is more excited for you than you can imagine since she is from Chandigarh. May be we can get together for a cup of coffee or dinner when we visit. Would love to see your 458 in person. Wish I could bring mine to India but the shipping, Custom and duty cost will burn a hole in my pocket Enjoy your 458 in great health and spirit. Looking forward for some pics.
Congrats Karan. Nice selection of the wheels for the 458. 15th November is not far away, I'm sure you are losing sleep. Many congratulations for the Fezza !!
The 458 reaches Delhi Airport on the 11th! D Day indeed! Will be with me 3-4 days after that! CAN NOT WAIT!
Wow? OK. Well, I never received anything...perhaps I was not worthy enough! I have my car though...should be happy with that!
Thank you for your wishes everyone! Will post pictures as soon as I get the car. On a related note, I posted a query in the California forum asking about the nav unit and how good/bad it was. I'd like to know how happy/unhappy 458 users are with their nav units? Since we are looking to replace our 430 in the US with another Ferrari , we were looking at the California and the 458, as both would entail a new experience as compared to our 430. From feedback received from California owners, the Nav unit is o.k at best and nothing great. Since our family isn't well versed with the routes and ways over in the US, hence a good nav really matters for us. So , is the 458 nav system very good as per nav standards/when compared to the not-so-good nav in the Ferrari california?
Finally, my car has reached the dealer and PDI is on! Attached are the images of the car. Although the color is rosso corsa, the camera flash makes it seem more orange-ish than usual. Can someone explain to me what area the last image is from? I am told it is a 'paint fade spot' near the air duct next to the headlights, on both the left and right hand side. I had a friend check out other 458's standing at the dealer's workshop and I was told that this is a 'gap' somewhere inside/around the air duct region next to the head lights and that it was seen on all new 458's standing at the dealership. Dealer says they are trying to 'adjust' it or will simply 'paint it again'. Can anyone shed some more light on this? These are the only images I got from the dealer and I won't get to see the car till Friday, when I get the delivery of the car. Nevermind my previous post! Seems like that white stuff was some polish that got stuck there and is now cleaned! Car is perfectly fine now! 48 hours to go!
No, not that I'm aware of any problems....I have had nav in other cars and never used it. I decided to spend that money on other options.

Congratulations, stunning looking 458. Really like the interior colour combination and the two tone on the Daytona seats.
