Yep, that's what I was told too. That's why unless my numbers come up on a Saturday night, I won't be joining that series anytime soon as much as I'd love to. Great machines, and from what I saw on Sunday a great bunch of guys who all seem to get on well and chat to each other. Oh, that's right I don't even buy a ticket.
Thanks for the update on Jan, I think that's his second big one since he got back into racing. Glad he is OK
His qualifying time looked pretty quick to me, that's for sure. He is an ultra competitive guy, I'm sure he will be back in the saddle pretty quickly.
And then you see some of the blokes have schmick enclosed trailers, or get someone to drop the cars to the round in a pantech, then take them home, or they have their own or shared b-double... the dollars escalate as the need to be 'better' than everyone else gets in the way of the good time you wanted in the first place. Very expensive for tyres, the guys at Michelin must be making a motza!
Saw a transporter there that had a pop up pergola on the roof with a spa underneath it!! No guessing who owned it.
Stupid scheduling, too many events on this weekend: Targa High Country, Sandown Historics and Shannons Nationals.
