should he restore it back to a coupe ? probably be worth more and gets the rigidity back into the chassis ?
FO x 365 drive a Daytona coupe and my car back to back, one is a refined GT, the other a sports car. It's horses for courses, but I prefer the spyder experience. Handles better because of lower CoG, just as rigid as a 246 or 308 GTS. No difference in value, my car has international provenance because (a) it was the first RHD conversion (b) who did the work and (c) who owned it. Yes the roof leaks when its parked overnight in the rain, hence my stylish cover.
rigidity and GTS cannot be mentioned in the same sentence I just put my QV on the hoist and if it's NOT dead centre of the hoist the flex makes it hard to close the doors properly I do love the open top though during the barmy nights when I take her for a drive along the coast, hard to beat
looks like a pram for old age pensioners I'll bet the doors don't open because the car is parked on a slope
or if you put a 348 on a hoist the doors dont open just like when its on the ground the doors dont open
his turn will come in Tassie, where fitting R spec tyres to the 330GT 2/2. found a co/driver for KIAI and invited skippy.
