I thought I saw a few six speeds as well. Just a couple. I thought there was a red six speed spider on EBAY not that long ago. But I think 90% plus were F1.

I was thinking it would compliment the interior if the main instrument cluster, speed/ tach, was carbon fiber to match fuel/ oil pressure and clock. Anyone try that? Recommendation on source supplier?

Are the Fiarano brake pads the same size as the standard 355 pads?

    Stokpro,

Met you at Infineon this year. Always knew you were the CS Guru, did not know that you knew so much about the Serie Fiorano, too. Great meeting you in person.

    Hello all,

I am coming up with a list of Fioranos and checking it against the existing list(s) on this thread. I have a few questions for the experts:

    - Does the color of the convertible top cover always match the interior leather color?
    - How many shades of beige-ish colored interior are there?
    - Can options be determined/verified from the VIN; and if so, how?
    - Is there a way to confirm wrecked/totaled VINs?

    ATTN: mdlacroix

I have info on Fiorano #'s 51 & 57. Let me know if you want it.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 355 or 348, and have found two Fiorano's at a local dealer.

    http://www.stevenscreekautomall.net/inventory.html

    VIN's are as follows:

ZFFXR48AXX0116522 - red, #68 needs major service (lacking service records) asking 81K

ZFFXR48A7X0116560 - silver, believe its number 84, but I may be wrong. fully serviced (I talked to the sales guy about this) and all records present asking 85K

Could anyone comment if these prices are ludicrous? I ask because down the street another dealer has a 98 355F1 that has had everything done, new clutch, new cats, engine out service done, all valves done, all stick parts replaced with 20K miles for 59K with every service record since new.... seems like it just may be a good deal.

    Thanks

116560 is grigio titanio (not silver) and is #36 according to the ad. #84 is silver (argento nurburgring).

After looking at the pic more closely, I know which car that is already, #20 one of very few red/tan manual 6-speeds... former Fchatter's car. Thanks for heads up WATSON!

I did buy #20 from Copart. It was sad to see, roughly 3k miles. I would have to say the pieces that did not burn were the cleanest I have ever seen. When I opened the front trunk everything looked brand new. By far the cleanest I have ever come across. I have since arrival already sold the front challenge steering rack and the suspension ecu.

FYI, for the database it was a red/tan with red or bordeaux color carpet.

    Thanks, Ryan
