    Hopefully they'll both have a nice break over the winter and *both* of them can put their heads back together next year. Both of them are damn good and this feud has got out of hand.

    I guess for his "destroy his race" comment? - Rob knows him much better than any of us and I suspect also knows what "motivates" him.... I don't think his comment(s) were as outrageous as they appeared - He just wants him to keep his head down and drive.

    Despite the sarcasm dripping from the above, in general, they do indeed. The top half a dozen may shuffle around a bit in qualy, but pretty much stay the same.

    Then, in the race, there are still those who claim there's no overtaking, so again, yes, a good grid position does indeed generally lead to a good finishing position - Always assuming you don't get punted off the track or succumb to the red mist of course...... [Something both protagonists have been guilty of this year.]

    I'm a Felipe Massa fan. He has a great attitude toward Ferrari fans and racing. His favorite F1 driver was Senna, but when he asked Ayerton for an autograph, Senna didn't give a young Felipe the time of day. For that reason, Massa always takes time for the fans.

    Felipe was targeted by Hammy this entire season and hit by him in almost every race or quali. With Felipe's car in DNF or crashed mode, it's no wonder Hammy racked up twice as many points. How can you judge a guy's performance when he doesn't get a chance at the podium because of one maniac out to destroy his race? No wonder Rob told Massa to destroy Hammy's race as well.

    If Lewsor were out of F1, Massa would have had an honest shot at the podium this year.

    I think you just made Massa look even worse: If everybody more or less keeps their positions from practice through quali to the end of the race, then what the hell is Massa doing going from P2 to P10 by Sunday night?

    I'm surprised none of Felipe's supporters have come by this thread to praise his performance in the Abu Dhabi GP last weekend!

    After all, he only was out-qualified by his teammate by less than 7/10ths of a second, and only spun once all by himself. When Smedley told him he was close to Button and to go get him, he promptly fell off the chase and had to tangle with Webber (since we have seen this year that Felipe doesn't like to try to go faster than the cars in front, he prefers to drive in his mirrors trying to fend off the quicker drivers). He didn't get to try his favourite excuse "but I was ahead, so I took the racing line. I didn't do anything wrong!" because he fell off the track before Webber's pit stop got them into close proximity.

    Still, he didn't actually lose any places in the race this time, his net gain of one place was due to Vettel's retirement. What's not to like about that performance? :p Well worthy of a top driver in one of the top teams! :rolleyes: :D

    There is a "haters" thread. Try it. You wont be disappointed. They use classy language like 'turd'. You can expand your vocabulary there!

    Forgot to add my support for him in the race. He's a test bed for parts in practice. Has the old style wing and its no secret his performance on harder compound tires has not been good at all. He even owns up to that. When you can fix that for him come back and tell us. Now that you feel superior after having posted the obvious, you know, that Felipe didnt out perform his team mate what pray tell do you have insight on, other than stating the obvious.

    Now be a good boy and go find the 'haters' thread and celebrate your clear superiority in F1 as a fan since you simply dont care for Felipe. That is a real feat of endeavor - Not liking a driver and posting it yet again! :) Well done! Well done!
